  1. Observers and other participants were welcomed and introduced
  2. The agenda was approved as reordered
  3. The October, 2009 meeting summary was approved as revised
  4. The membership request of the American Academy of Physician Assistants was approved for a 2 year term
  5. The Position Statement on Opposition to Criminalization of Medication Errors was deferred to the June meeting
  6. Dosing based on body weight ~ A small workgroup was empanelled to prepare a statement for discussion at the June meeting
  7. Medication Error Rates vs. Medication Error Reporting Rates Proposal for AHRQ Grant ~ the workgroup was expanded and will present a DRAFT proposal for a Medication Safety Measurement Consensus Conference at the June meeting
  8. Rules and Procedures ~ Subcommittee met twice to review the rules and procedures. A full report will be presented at the June meeting
  9. 15th Anniversary Celebration ~ Revision of organizational comments are being accepted up through April 1, 2010. A celebration will be held in conjunction with the June two day meeting
  10. The National Alert Network will be established under the aegis of the National Coordinating Council for Medication Error Reporting and Prevention ~ A media event will be planned in conjunction with the June celebration
  11. The three recommendations for enhancing accuracy (prescription writing, dispensing and administration of medications) will be reviewed by a small workgroup with the goal of including the concept of the metric system within each.
